Brewing Instructions for One Detox Coffee Enema

Place in saucepan:

  • 3 rounded tablespoons* Robusta Health coffee grounds
  • 1 litre distilled/pure water

Boil vigorously 3 minutes uncovered; then cover, lower heat and simmer an additional 15 minutes

Strain and allow to cool (do not use a paper filter to strain the coffee as it traps a lot of the good chemicals and doesn’t let them pass through into the enema solution, we recommend you strain through a fine stainless steel sieve or cheesecloth)

Add distilled/pure water to make a full litre

Use at body temperature

Discard any unused portion

*3 tablespoons is the default amount but everyone is different so each person should adjust the amount of coffee for their best results. One caffeine sensitive customer says she uses 1 TEAspoon of coffee in her enema solution, some tell us they use MORE than 3 TABLEspoons. Consult your health care provider for the best guidance on using the right amount of coffee for your physiology.

Detox Coffee Concentrate

Makes 4 enemas (double recipe to make 8 enemas)

Place in saucepan:

  • 250 grams Robusta Health coffee grounds
  • 1 litre distilled/pure water

Boil vigorously 3 minutes uncovered; then cover, lower heat and simmer an additional 15 minutes

Strain and allow to cool (do not use a paper filter to strain the coffee as it traps a lot of the good chemicals and doesn’t let them pass through into the enema solution, we recommend you strain through a fine stainless steel sieve or cheesecloth)

Add distilled/pure water to make a full litre

Store in refrigerator and discard any unused portion after 48 hours

How to make a 1 litre enema from the coffee concentrate

  • Remove jar of coffee concentrate from refrigerator and shake well
  • Pour 250 grams coffee concentrate into enema bucket and return the jar of concentrate to refrigerator
  • Put 500ml distilled/pure water into a kettle and bring to a boil.
  • Now, option 1: fill the enema bucket up to the 1 quart mark with distilled/pure room temperature water and let the enema solution cool to body temperature.
  • Or, option 2: for quick cooling, after pouring the boiling water into the coffee concentrate you can use ice cubes made with distilled/pure water to quickly bring the enema solution to body temperature. A couple handfuls of ice usually does the trick. Use a cooking thermometer to gauge the temperature and then if the enema solution measures less than 1 litre use distilled/pure room temperature water to bring the solution to a full litre measure
  • Cool further if necessary to bring enema solution to body temperature and administer enema
